About Chalayan
Renowned alongside Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, and a graduate of Central Saint Martins, Chalayan is positioned within the high luxury market with his eponymous brand.
In 2006, Chalayan was honored with the Order of the British Empire by the Queen, and in 2019, he was named one of the 25 most influential people in fashion by Time magazine.
That same year, Chalayan collaborated with Boloni to create the "Aboriginal Songlines" designer collection. This collection explores the possibility of creating a series that blends contemporary urban style with distant, exotic cultural influences

Aboriginal Songlines
Above the tribe, weaving a musical hymn.
Is it possible to create a collection that merges distinct urban style with distant, exotic cultural influences? The "curved shapes" symbolize infinity or the cycle of life, while "lines" represent pathways and "dots" denote the earth's organizational structure. By overlaying urban blocks onto these dots and lines, I aim to create an entirely new world.
In 2019, Boloni partnered with Chalayan to develop the "Aboriginal Songlines" designer product series.

Cooperative Patterns
In the serene and refined spaces of New York, the "Aboriginal Songlines" patterns subtly guide the visual experience, blending tranquility with evocative suggestions. This integration updates the space with a sophisticated charm, enriching it with greater layers and textures, while constantly reminding you of your journey and dynamic progress.
